200g Barilla Mediterranean Pesto Rustico
350g Barilla Penne Rigate pasta
220g fresh baby bocconcini
Freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Handful fresh basil leaves
1. Cook your pasta according to packet instructions in a pot of salted water. Drain your pasta and set aside to slightly cool.
2. Pour your cooked pasta in a large serving bowl or tray and stir through the whole jar of Barilla Mediterranean Pesto Rustico, making sure the pasta is completely coated in the pesto rustic sauce.
3. Drain the baby bocconcini from any excess liquid and add to the pasta, along with the fresh basil leaves and mix well until combined.
4. Serve with extra fresh basil leaves and grated parmesan cheese if desired.
