Italian Parmesan Garlic Loaf



Ingredients


1 bread loaf of your choice cut in diagonal lines

250g unsalted butter, soften

1/2 cup mixed fresh basil & parsley, finely chopped

5 cloves garlic, grated

1 cup grated parmesan cheese + extra for serving

Salt & pepper to season


Method


Preheat your oven to 180c/350f and place the sliced loaf on a line a baking tray with parchment paper.


Add butter, parmesan, herbs, garlic, salt and pepper to a bowl and mix well until all ingredients are combined.

Use a spoon or knife to smear the butter into each of the cut sides of the bread until the whole loaf is covered.


Sprinkle a little more parmesan cheese over the top and bake for 20 mins until golden brown and the cheese has melted.


Serve immediately and enjoy!
