1 sheet puff pastry, thawed 1 medium pear, thinly sliced 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped 100g butter 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cinnamon stick
1. Preheat oven 180c. 2. Slice your puff pastry sheet into 6 equal rectangles. Place onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. 3. Add butter, sugar & cinnamon stick into a small saucepan, simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes. Stir in walnuts & cook for another 2-3 minutes. Turn off to cool syrup slightly. 4. Brush a little of the cinnamon syrup over each pastry base & arrange the pear slices in the center. 5. Spoon over the remaining cinnamon syrup with the walnuts evenly over each of the tarts. 6. Bake for approx. 20 - 25 min. at 180°C/350°F until golden. 7. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream.
