Pan-Seared LaManna Gnocchi with Browned Butter & Sage

I love a good pasta dish and I must say gnocchi are one of my favorites. I absolute love to make them but sometimes I don’t have the time. I was fortunate enough to team up with LaManna Supermarket for an amazing Christmas collaboration.

These delicious LaManna Gnocchi are the perfect way to speed up your Christmas lunch or dinner. These beauties are pre-packed which means less time in the kitchen and more time spent with the family.

They taste exactly like homemade gnocchi! To compliment these delicious morsels is a quick and easy burnt butter & sage sauce.

Burnt Butter & Sage Gnocchi

Ingredients 

400g LaManna Gnocchi

100g unsalted butter, chopped

25 small sage leaves

Salt & Pepper to season

Method

  1. Place chopped butter into a large frying pan over low heat. Cook until melted then add sage leaves to pan.

  2. Cook butter & sage leaves for 4-5 minutes or until sage leaves are crisp and butter has turned a deep nut-brown colour.

  3. Add gnocchi to the frying pan and toss to coat in burnt sage butter. Cook until gnocchi turns golden on both sides. Season with salt & pepper.

  4. To serve, divide gnocchi among bowls, drizzling any extra burnt butter sauce over the top.
